Five Baking Recipes you must try this winter

It is the season of joy, fun and food. As the temperatures drop, friends, family and hot baked foods add warmth to our lives. From soft sponge cakes to delicious tarts, it is the season to pamper your sweet tooth! Here are five hand-picked winter-themed recipes that are quick, easy and winter special. 

The marking of the New Year calls for a sweet beginning. For all the non-chocolate cake lovers, Pineapple Orange is a must-try recipe! Within just 40 minutes, serve about 15 people. The cake requires just four basic ingredients: a pack of yellow cake mix, a can of oranges and pineapple, four large white eggs and half a cup of unsweetened applesauce. Mix all the four in a baking dish coated with cooking spray, for 2 minutes. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Let it cool. In a large bowl whisk 250 ml cream, 500 ml full cream milk, 200 ml sugar, a pinch of salt and cinnamon and 9 egg yolks and keep it aside.
